The egbatt energy storage controller adopts a variety of communication modes by RS485 or CANbus. With different brand inverter protocols. Like SMA,Victron energy, Goodwe, Solis, Schneider, Deye, Growatt,Sofar Solar,Luxpower,INVT,MUST, Sorotec, Senergy... The following some basic introduction for RS485 and CAN communication.
1.RS485 communication
The battery system BMS communicates with each other through RS485 line, and finally connects to our Shinemaster, which uploads the battery system data to the server through network. It can remotely and real-time monitor the operation status of single / multiple battery(s). Terminal blocks are used at both ends of RS485 communication line, by paralleling the two blocks it will make RS485 line, which shall not exceed 1000m. In order to ensure transmission quality, special twisted pair shielded communication line shall be applied. The 485 interface is located in the internal control board, please distinguish “A”and “B”. If not used for monitoring, the user's own monitoring equipment needs to be compatible with 485 communication protocol of EGBATT
BMS-CAN communication
CAN communication is required when inverter is equipped with battery with BMS. Connect CAN A of inverter to the CAN port of battery, and communication can be realized after docking the ommunication protocol.Terminal blocks are used at both ends of communication line, by paralleling the two blocks it will make a CAN line. Special shielded communication line is recommended The CAN A interface is located in the internal control panel. Please distinguish "L" and "H". If the user does not use the BMS battery system produced from egbatt, the user's own system needs to be compatible with the BMS communication protocol of egbatt.

As lithium ion batteries fall under DG (dangerous goods) category, they use high-quality DG boxes or DG wooden cases to pack the batteries along with thick foam. EGBATT ensures that all of its batteries meet the MSDS and UN38.3 standards. The packaging requirements for lithium batteries shipped by sea depend on the Watt-hour rating for lithium ion cells or batteries, or the lithium metal content for lithium metal cells or batteries. The packaging needs to meet UN specifications or be strong and rigid packing that can withstand the shocks, mechanical handling, and loading encountered during transport.
