Full 150kW from Any Grid Connection — or None at All

Unlike grid-dependent fast chargers, the EG-Nova 150 Dual decouples charging power from grid capacity. The integrated 180kWh LiFePO4 battery acts as a buffer, so the full 150kW output is available even where the grid connection is weak, congested, or absent.

  • Store low, dispatch high — charge the battery overnight at off-peak rates and discharge during peak demand windows
  • No grid upgrade required — deliver 150kW DC fast charging without waiting months for a utility upgrade
  • Avoid peak-demand charges — shave demand peaks and cut electricity costs for commercial sites
  • Keep charging through outages — onboard storage provides charging continuity during grid fluctuations

180kWh Integrated LiFePO4 Battery Storage

At the core of the EG-Nova 150 Dual is a 180kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery system, fully integrated inside the charger cabinet and managed by an active-balancing BMS. Every parameter — cell voltages, temperatures, SOC, insulation resistance — is monitored in real time on the 14″ HMI.

  • Long cycle life — ≥ 5,000 cycles @ 1C (80% DOD)
  • High thermal stability — liquid cooling maintains optimal cell temperature across duty cycles
  • Enhanced safety — LiFePO4 chemistry with integrated protection and emergency stop
  • Wide operating range — charge 0°C to 50°C, discharge −10°C to 50°C

Dual-Gun Charging — One Machine, Every Standard

The EG-Nova 150 Dual ships with dual charging guns and dual 5m cables, configurable to CCS1, CCS2, GB/T, or CHAdeMO. Two vehicles can charge simultaneously, and every vehicle on the lot is served from a single SKU — from the latest EVs to legacy models.

  • Universal voltage window — 200–1000 VDC output at up to 250 A covers 400V and 800V vehicle architectures
  • Full power across the fleet — 150 kW serves passenger cars, light commercial fleets, and beyond
  • Dual-gun throughput — two cables, two vehicles, double revenue per site
  • OCPP 1.6J / 2.0 — open communication protocol (Open Charge Alliance) for network integration and smart charging

Four Working Modes — Charge and Discharge

Beyond EV charging, the EG-Nova 150 Dual is a bidirectional power asset. From the HMI, operators select between AC charge, DC charge, AC discharge, and DC discharge modes — enabling grid arbitrage, solar self-consumption, backup power, and mobile power supply from one cabinet.

Grid + Solar Hybrid Energy Input

AC Grid Input (3-Phase)

  • Voltage: 260–480 Vac (3P+N+PE)
  • Frequency: 45–65 Hz
  • Current: 0–92 A

DC Solar Input (20kW PV)

  • Maximum PV input power: 20kW — plug-and-play
  • Directly connect solar panels to offset grid draw

DC Fast Charger Recharge

  • The battery can also be recharged via an external DC fast charger (CCS1, CCS2, or GB/T)

By integrating solar input directly, the EG-Nova 150 Dual functions as a solar EV charger with battery storage, enabling reduced electricity costs, higher renewable energy utilization, and improved project sustainability metrics.

14″ Touchscreen HMI — Simple, Monitored Operation

A 14″ LCD touchscreen HMI (English, customizable) puts charging control at your fingertips: select charging or discharging mode, monitor real-time voltage, current, and SOC, and manage both guns from one screen. Built-in system diagnostics — insulation monitoring, SPD check, breaker check, door check — run automatically before every session, so faults are caught before a vehicle is connected.

Designed for Mobile & Fixed Charging Operations

The EG-Nova 150 Dual is engineered to meet the real operational challenges faced by fleet operators, charging network owners, and rescue services.

Ideal applications include:

  • Truck- or trailer-mounted mobile charging and EV rescue operations
  • Fleet depots (logistics, delivery, taxi, municipal fleets)
  • Public & semi-public commercial charging stations
  • Construction sites, events, and temporary charging infrastructure
  • Remote locations with limited, unstable, or unavailable grid power
  • Solar-assisted EV charging projects and parking-lot microgrids

With its integrated energy storage architecture, the EG-Nova 150 Dual reduces reliance on grid peak power while maintaining consistent fast-charging performance — wherever the job site is.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a battery-integrated DC fast charger?

A battery-integrated (battery-buffered) DC fast charger has an onboard battery energy storage system — in this case 180kWh of LiFePO4 — that decouples charging power from the grid. The battery stores energy from the grid or solar and discharges it to deliver full charging power even where grid capacity is limited.

Can the EG-Nova 150 Dual charge EVs without a grid connection?

Yes. The 180kWh onboard storage delivers the full 150kW output off-grid. The battery is recharged via the AC grid (260–480 Vac), an external DC fast charger (CCS1/CCS2/GB/T), or the 20kW PV input.

Which EV connectors does the EG-Nova 150 Dual support?

Dual guns, each configurable to CCS1, CCS2, GB/T, or CHAdeMO — one machine serves every vehicle on the lot. Both cables are 5 m long.

Can it be mounted on a truck or trailer?

Yes. The EG-Nova 150 Dual is designed for truck- or trailer-mounted mobile charging and rescue operations, and can also be installed permanently at a fixed site.

How long will the 180kWh battery last?

The LiFePO4 battery is rated for ≥ 5,000 cycles at 1C with 80% depth of discharge, with liquid cooling to maintain cell temperature across commercial duty cycles.

Is the EG-Nova 150 Dual suitable for outdoor installation?

Yes. The cabinet is IP54 rated with an emergency stop button, designed for commercial charging station environments — including outdoor parking lots and worksites.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Notice

EGBATT has set a high standard for shipping lithium batteries. As lithium ion batteries fall under DG (dangerous goods) category, they use high-quality DG boxes or DG wooden cases to pack the batteries along with thick foam. This ensures that the batteries are delivered to customers in the best possible condition and without any damage.

We accept shipping

  • By express or Air shipping like UPS, DHL, Fedex.
  • Shipping by sea to port or to door service.
  • FAC to Customer's forwarder company in China.

EGBATT ensures that all of its batteries meet the MSDS and UN38.3 standards. The packaging requirements for lithium batteries shipped by sea depend on the Watt-hour rating for lithium ion cells or batteries, or the lithium metal content for lithium metal cells or batteries. The packaging needs to meet UN specifications or be strong and rigid packing that can withstand the shocks, mechanical handling, and loading encountered during transport.

Shipping Regulation

If you are an international customer, please note that products will be shipped directly from China. To place your order, please contact odmbattery@outlook.com manually, rather than ordering on the website, as shipping costs may be inaccurate for regions outside of the USA.

EGbatt understands the importance of proper handling and regulation compliance when it comes to shipping lithium ion batteries. We take great care to follow all regulations for sea and air shipping to ensure the safe and secure transport of these potentially hazardous materials.

Shipping lithium ion batteries comes with specific guidelines outlined by transportation authorities, including the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code, to minimize the risk of fire or explosion during shipping. These guidelines cover packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements, among other things. At EGbatt, we stay up-to-date with all current regulations and guidelines to ensure we are shipping our products safely and responsibly. We understand the risks involved with transporting lithium ion batteries and take the necessary precautions to minimize those risks for both our customers and our employees.
